Delicious bbq food in Tampa . Not sure where to begin but the burnt ends were delicious I believe it's only on Saturdays. Well we got a lot of food and damn everything was delicious. The ribs and the brisket were so juicy and tender . The lechon or pulled pork was so delicious and the crispy skins were so yummy and crispy and you don't really see that . The bbq chicken had this citrus flavor which was soo different and so good . We also had the fries and the Mac n cheese also good . I have nothing to complain about with our meal . The entire staff were so nice and helpful and soo welcoming it was like a family . I really loved the bon bon I believe it was a sweet bread with bbq meat inside freakin Delicious. Love the wine on tap as different beers as well . Plenty of seating areas. For all . This place is delicious definitely coming back to try the burgers and some other stuff we didn't get to taste.

The Brisket Shoppe nails BBQ every time. As a fan of Texas-style BBQ, I can say their brisket rivals the best. I usually go for the ribs too, but they were sold out--always a good sign. This time, I had brisket and mojo pork with brisket & beans and waffle fries with gravy. To my surprise, I got a tasty brisket bon bon as well. I couldn't resist the "Almost Famous" banana pudding, and it didn't disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous enough for leftovers. The food here is consistently excellent, and the staff is always friendly. This is my go-to BBQ spot in Tampa.

No frills. Just darn good bbq. My wife and daughter stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We had heard good things about the Brisket Shoppe. They serve up food and sell high-end smokers and outdoor kitchen set-ups. There is a medium-sized parking lot off to the side on Armenia. It's shared among a few businesses in the area. It was nearly full when we arrived at 1130am. You'll walk in, likely to a line, because this place was poppin'. An older gentleman was around offering to answer any questions and welcome us. He made small talk and interacted with our daughter which was really nice. It seemed to me he was the man responsible for the delicious food we were about to eat. You order on a computer screen. It can be a little daunting. The pressure of the line coupled with some specific instructions on-screen ensure you need to pay attention to what you are doing. But with a little bit of focus, it's really easy. I ordered a two-meat combo. Brisket and turkey. It came with two sides, coleslaw and loaded potato salad. My wife just got the one meat, brisket and a side of mac and cheese and loaded off the cob corn. We got a seat and waited about 2 minutes, if that. The food was up quick. The brisket was fantastic. Tender and juicy. Beautiful smoke ring. Flavorful with a good bark. The fat was trimmed up good but with enough left to add flavor. It was rendered perfect so that it melted in your mouth. The smoked turkey was tender, juicy and smokey as well. Just well done bar-b-que. The sides were good too. My coleslaw had a cilantro-lime flavor, taken from the culture and vibe of the East Tampa neighborhood this restaurant sits in. The loaded potato salad was savory and filled with bits of cheese, chives and other things I am sure. My wife enjoyed her meal as well. Both of them came with a brisket bon bon. A bread pocket, filled with their amazing brisket. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming and made small conversation. Just a really nice and welcoming place to eat. The only downside it exclusive outdoor seating in Florida summer. We luckily had a fan with us but with humidity and meat sweats, the dining experience can get a little uncomfortable. If you're looking for good bbq in Tampa, go here. I'll be back for sure.

Just start by saying that I understand why this place is so popular. This is some of the best BBQ in Tampa, especially the brisket! Danny (owner) and his staff were incredibly hospitable to me and my family. They introduced us to the private room (can be reserved) which offered a/c and privacy. There is a lot of outdoor seating but very limited indoor. I opted for the two meat meal with ribs, brisket, baked beans w/brisket, and Mac & cheese. Everything was great! We also had the bread puffy for dessert. It was a nice cap to close off the meal Highly recommend this place. Quite possibly the best in Tampa. Great job Danny
